We are now looking for support assistants for Oxhagsvägen's LSS service accommodation in Strängnäs. The service accommodation is located close to nature in a residential area on Tosterö. The accommodation consists of 12 apartments and is aimed at adults with disabilities. Here you have great opportunities to work with colleagues to design stimulating leisure activities based on each user's needs and circumstances.

We are currently looking for two support assistants, one position starting on 250601 and the other on 250901.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a support assistant, your work is based on individual implementation plans and job descriptions with the goal that the user should have the opportunity for a meaningful life and feel involved in their daily life. Your work includes mapping skills and support areas to find the right adjustments based on the users' needs. In your work, you will follow the users in their daily lives and support them in everything related to managing a home, cooking, leisure activities, and relationships with relatives.

You will work according to a schedule with varying working hours, i.e., days, evenings, and every other weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has/is:

• trained as a nursing assistant, preschool teacher, or has another equivalent education.
• experience with social documentation.
• good computer skills.
• good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience in similar work.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability and interest in working with the target group. You are attentive and should be able to adapt your approach, support, and service based on the user's needs. The work places high demands on commitment, personal responsibility, and creativity.
