Treatment Pedagogue for HVB Nygården

We are now looking for a staff member for HVB Nygården, which caters to adult men and women with substance abuse and dependency issues. The accommodation consists of a treatment facility with 20 places, which, together with the outpatient treatment team, constitutes round-the-clock care at home, as well as an emergency and assessment accommodation that is an important part of the outreach and motivational activities in addiction care and a first step for those who want to make a change. Within the framework of the HVB operation, there are also various transition accommodations, both close to the main operation and in the city.

Addiction care in Nyköping is under continuous development, and we always strive to provide support, care, and treatment at home first. In 2023, the operation will continue to undergo a development process that began in the second half of 2022 to ensure the quality of our efforts and further improve how we meet the needs of different individuals and target groups in addiction care.

We are looking for someone who wants to help develop the treatment content at HVB Nygården, with a particular focus on planning and guiding work training and other daily functions for the placed clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a treatment pedagogue responsible for work training, you will work closely with other staff at the facility to ensure that all content aligns with the various psychosocial treatment efforts taking place in outpatient care and other individualized support. Work training, as well as other activities, should be health-promoting and designed to empower the residents and lay a foundation for continued work-oriented rehabilitation.

Your responsibilities also include conducting treatment groups with various themes such as finance, nutrition, hygiene, etc., as well as guiding and supporting individuals to participate in their overall treatment plan and achieve their goals. You will collaborate with other staff to create a structure and environment that is conducive to those placed.

Other tasks include support and motivational conversations, coordination, weekly planning, implementation plans, and internal and external collaboration.

Documentation is done in the operational system Journal Digital. Your working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with suitable education and experience for the role. Your background may be in treatment or social pedagogy and/or similar, combined with work experience where you have worked treatment-oriented and change-focused with people with dependencies. You know what is required of you and others to create a favorable environment for the residents' recovery. It is an advantage if you have experience or knowledge of case management or similar network work.

It is also a plus if you are practically or creatively inclined and/or see opportunities to initiate various projects in areas such as gardening, carpentry, renovation, crafts, music, or other areas. You have the ability to see potential in others, both the residents and your colleagues.

As a person, you need to be positive yet boundary-setting, engaged in the organization's goals, and respectful in your communication. You need to have a thoughtful worldview and stable values so that you want and can be a reliable role model for those who wish to make a lifestyle change.
