JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You, who are both innovative and have the ability to execute, will play a central role in our transformation towards modern working methods and future-proof digital solutions for both employees and citizens.

As a business architect in the Digital Transition unit, you will work alongside other digitalization leaders and digitalization and AI specialists under the leadership of the Chief Digital Officer. The unit is tasked with accelerating the municipality's digital transformation in close collaboration with the municipality's core operations.

Your role includes, among other things:

  • Developing business architecture, processes, methods, models, and frameworks.
  • Responsible for leading established priorities in portfolio management. This also includes initiating and leading process improvements. A broad understanding of both technology and organization with a strong focus on structure and overall context.
  • Portfolio management and projects: Steering and leading prioritized projects.
  • Innovation and analysis: Conducting current state analyses, identifying and describing areas where improvements can be made through the possibilities of digitalization, including AI. Identifying new initiatives in various areas with a focus on digitalization. Contributing to business development by implementing and evaluating new solutions and technologies. Ensuring the connection between information flow and business processes.
  • Staying updated on the latest technologies and trends in digitalization, AI, and new technologies, as well as analyzing how these can impact the operations.
  • Collaborating and supporting various departments and other stakeholders to meet needs and introduce new digital solutions and working methods. Leveraging the collective expertise in digitalization within the municipality. Being a bridge between management, departments, and the IT department and seeing the connection with other support functions such as information/cyber security, procurement, and e-archive/archive.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant academic education in IT, systems/computer science, informatics, technology, economics, or equivalent.
  • Solid experience in change management, collaborative operations, and related areas as well as digitalization.
  • Strong interest in driving change management and business development.
  • Very good knowledge of both Swedish and English.
  • Ability to lead and motivate employees. Insight and understanding of the needs of municipal operations.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills. Proactive and responsive. Able to convey technical and complex information in a way that is understandable to various stakeholders, including non-technical individuals.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and find solutions.
  • Ability to think long-term and plan strategically.
  • Experience working with information management, information architecture, and information security.
