JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a primary school teacher, you have a central role in the students' early schooling and development. You are responsible for teaching one or more subjects for students in grades F-3 and creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where each student has the opportunity to develop according to their conditions. Your assignment includes planning, implementing, and following up on teaching according to the curriculum, as well as adapting instruction to the students' various needs and conditions. You actively work to develop students' knowledge in fundamental subjects such as Swedish, mathematics, and NO/SO, while also strengthening their social and emotional skills. You use varied teaching methods and pedagogical tools to motivate and engage students. An important part of your work is to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You collaborate closely with other educators and student health services to ensure that each student receives the support and guidance they need. You are also responsible for ongoing communication with guardians through development talks, weekly newsletters, and other information channels. In addition to teaching, your work includes classroom organization, conflict management, and value-based work to create a safe and respectful environment for all students. You participate in the school's development work and are involved in creating a school where all students have the best possible conditions for learning and development. As a primary school teacher, you are engaged, flexible, and solution-focused. You have good collaboration skills, pedagogical insight, and a desire to develop both your teaching and yourself as a teacher.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for grades 1-3. You have the ability to inspire students and develop their interest in the subjects. If you have experience teaching Swedish as a second language, it is an advantage. You strive to create a positive and stimulating learning environment. You have good collaboration skills and are well acquainted with the school's governing documents. You should share the values and approaches described in our employee and leadership policy.
