About the workplace

The adult education is part of the children and education department, led by an adult education manager and five principals.

The premises are spacious and bright, located within one of the former barracks in the old regiment area and at Margretegärdeskolan. The educational programs include basic adult education, SFI, upper secondary courses, Adapted Komvux, and Higher Vocational Education. We have extensive collaboration with the upper secondary school. Parts of the operations are commissioned training, funded by grants from the state and dependent on our ability to adapt to fluctuations in the labor market. This places high demands on flexibility among staff.

Job Responsibilities

The position as a teacher in mathematics and physics involves teaching at the upper secondary and basic levels. You will plan, implement, and follow up on instruction for our students, as well as other tasks included in the teaching assignment. Evening teaching may occur. You are engaged in the school's quality work and demonstrate clarity in your work with goals and results. You possess qualities that include both structure and creativity.

Who are we looking for

We are looking for you who are a qualified and certified teacher with very good subject competence. You are a pedagogical leader in the classroom and use democratic working methods and are interested in digital tools. In addition to good pedagogical competence, you are innovative and engaged, and you want to be part of a collegial learning environment. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
