Are you a specialist physician in general medicine looking to work at a smaller health center? Here’s your chance to become part of the team at Närlunda Health Center. We are seeking a new colleague who, together with us, wants to continue developing our operations and offer our patients good and close care.

Närlunda Health Center is located on Närlundavägen in Helsingborg with good train and bus connections. The health center has about 4000 registered patients and we are a team of about 20 employees consisting of medical secretaries, receptionists, nursing assistants, nurses, district nurses, BVC nurses, diabetes nurses, asthma/COPD nurses, social workers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, specialist physicians, ST physicians, and AT physicians. The health center also has a small, well-functioning child health center (BVC).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a specialist physician with us, you will have a varied job that includes both acute and planned patient visits, home visits, and joint visits with BVC nurses. You will have great opportunities for your own professional development, with time allocated for further education and reflection in your schedule, in addition to courses and local training. We always have training physicians with us, so it is very important that supervision is close to your heart. You will supervise both medical students and training physicians and share your knowledge with other employees. Improvement work together with the team is an important component to be able to offer high medical quality with good resource utilization.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply are a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have specialist competence in general medicine. To be considered for the position, you must have language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale. We see it as advantageous if you have previous experience in primary care, as well as familiarity with the PMO, Melior, and Pascal journal systems.

To thrive as a specialist physician with us, it is important that you enjoy working in a team and contribute to a well-functioning collaboration. We prefer that you are unpretentious, clear in your communication, and have a good ability to structure and prioritize. As a person, you are of course team-oriented, solution-focused, and have an interest in driving the health center forward. You are motivated by meeting patients where they are and have a desire to take responsibility for the whole of the patient’s care experience. Furthermore, you are a person who enjoys challenges and finding solutions, and you are interested in supervision as we care about the development and work environment of our training physicians.
