Do you want to create social value and promote welfare?
Do you want to create social value and promote welfare together with knowledgeable colleagues with diverse competencies? Do you want to contribute to safe care and high-quality services? Then you might be the one we are looking for!
The Role of Inspector
You will primarily work on investigating the professional practice of licensed personnel within healthcare. The cases you handle may involve illness (for example, addiction), competence, prescription of medications, care and treatment, and/or record-keeping. Your investigations will include reviewing prescriptions and patient records, and you may also meet with the professional under IVO's supervision. You will be the lead case handler in some cases and a co-handler in others. We work together nationally, and you will have colleagues across the country. You will be part of a close and cross-professional collaboration with colleagues involved in a case, usually inspectors with healthcare backgrounds, supervisory dentists, and medical supervisors. Cases are concluded with some form of decision or report to the Health and Medical Care Responsibility Board.
We are looking for a new employee but may consider hiring more.
We are looking for someone who has
- Swedish nursing license
- At least five years of current experience in somatic or psychiatric care
- Experience working with quality issues
- Good ability to express yourself in writing in Swedish.
You will be part of cross-functional groups where your perspective from healthcare is one of many. Therefore, it is very important that you have both good collaboration skills and high integrity. You have good judgment and feel secure in your professional role. You are able to drive your own cases and see what you need to do to move forward in your work.
We place great importance on your personal qualities. It is considered a significant advantage if you have experience in addiction care. Experience in leading others is also advantageous, as well as having worked with writing and formulating text.
What can IVO offer you?
We offer you a developing role in an exciting knowledge organization. You will have the chance to work in a dynamic environment where you, together with your colleagues, contribute to our ongoing efforts to develop a modern and powerful supervision in Sweden. We continuously work with new methods, approaches, and tools to achieve the best results. We strive for a composition of employees that reflects the diversity of society.
The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probation period located at our office in Malmö.
Application
We want you to submit a CV and a personal letter where you introduce yourself and describe what attracts you to the role and how you think you can contribute. Your application should indicate how you meet the requirements. Apply by April 17, 2025.
