The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, pedagogical care, after-school care, preschool class, primary school, adapted primary school, secondary school, adapted secondary school, municipal adult education, special education for adults, Swedish for immigrants (SFI), youth centers, and cultural schools.

Preschool and after-school care services are available at all seven F-6 schools, geographically spread throughout the municipality.

Altorpskolan, which is the municipality's only 7-9 school, receives students from all our F-6 schools and is strategically located in central Herrljunga. The Knowledge Source, the municipality's secondary school, is also located in Herrljunga.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are a school with about 120 students, most of whom in primary school attend after-school care. Our after-school center has fantastic facilities and an outdoor environment beyond the ordinary. This includes a large schoolyard with grass, gravel, and asphalt, an artificial turf field, forest, fire pit, grill hut, and outdoor gym. Our after-school center is a place where both students and teachers thrive and develop. We believe in creating a learning environment and learning opportunities based on students' thoughts and ideas. We have a principal who has completed the state principal training for after-school care and sees the after-school center as an important part of the students' day.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for:

• An engaged teacher for the after-school center who:
• Is passionate about creating meaningful, fun, and interesting teaching.
• Wants to use our fantastic outdoor environment to inspire and engage students.
• Has the ability to listen to students' ideas and create learning based on that.
• Is driven and sees opportunities to develop the after-school center through systematic quality work with a focus on the curriculum's content.
• Has a teaching license for after-school care and preferably is qualified or has an interest in teaching art, music, or sports.
