Noltorpsskolan is a large school with approximately 560 students from preschool to grade 6, and it also has an Adapted Primary School. The school is located in central Alingsås, beautifully nestled in nature, free from disturbing traffic routes, and each grade has its own entrance, which provides a calm atmosphere.

The school is newly built with bright classrooms, craft rooms, and a music room. In front of the building stands the artwork "Thinking Together" as a symbol for the school; a school where we think together and develop for the future.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a special educator with us, you will play an important role in our child and student health work. The work is varied and will involve many important contacts with both internal and external actors. Our special educator works preventively and health-promoting in close collaboration with other employees within both the school and child and student health.

The job responsibilities consist of operational support in the form of consultation and guidance to staff and school management, teamwork around children and students in need of support, and task-related investigation assignments at both individual, group, and organizational levels, as well as collaboration with other staff and other partners such as social services and habilitation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed teacher with a special education degree.
• has training and experience in using Logos for mapping students.
• has experience working with systematic quality work within school operations.

It is an advantage if you:

• have experience with digital documentation in UNIKUM and ProReNata.
• have good system knowledge and experience working with digital tools for follow-up and analysis.

You are passionate about school development and actively work to drive the operations forward. To succeed in the role, you also have strong collaboration skills and are used to working cross-professionally. You have a solution-focused approach and can adapt interventions according to students' needs.
