In Sweden, VPK Packaging has factories in both Bäckefors and Norrköping, employing nearly 240 people.

We are looking for a maintenance mechanic for our factory in Norrköping, focusing on preventive and corrective maintenance. You will belong to the maintenance department, which consists of eight people, three of whom are mechanics.

Responsibilities

You will work as a maintenance mechanic with the main responsibility of ensuring the operation of our production machines. Your tasks will include:

• Machine maintenance, focusing on preventive maintenance
• Participate in service, maintenance, and installations of machinery
• Ensure the operation of process steam production
• Follow applicable routines according to the company's environmental and quality system, as well as relevant safety regulations

Qualifications

• Preferably a 3-year high school education (preferably in technology/mechanics)
• Experience from similar tasks
• Good communication skills in both spoken and written (Swedish and English)
• Computer skills and good knowledge of the Office suite
• Forklift license

Other

The position is scheduled for two shifts with some weekend work. On-call duty will be required to ensure the operation of our boilers.
