The School in Vuollerim

The school in Vuollerim is a mixed-age F-5 school with an after-school program, currently hosting about 30 students and around 15-20 in the after-school program. From autumn 2025, the school will move into completely new premises where a preschool will also be available.

Vuollerim school is seeking a qualified preschool teacher or after-school teacher as the position will be shared between preschool class and the after-school program.

As a newly hired, permanent employee in Jokkmokk municipality for this position, we have the opportunity to offer you a Stay-on insurance if you meet the following criteria:

• You must not have previously held a permanent position with the same title.
• You are registered as a resident, or will register in connection with the employment.
• You must not have received the municipality's scholarship for post-secondary studies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in preschool class and in the after-school program, you will plan the teaching based on LGR22 and the prioritized goal areas of the Education Committee. You have a clear responsibility for ensuring that the teaching in the preschool class and after-school activities is conducted in collaboration with the school and maintains a high quality. You will work closely with other team members and guardians.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone who is a licensed teacher. You should be able to work closely with colleagues. You place the student, their learning and development, and the quality of the operation at the center. You should have good social collaboration skills and be flexible. Personal suitability will be given great importance.

Experience is required.

The position is a permanent employment subject to the requirements of the Education Act being met by the applicant.

The salary range for this position is between 30,000 - 35,000 SEK/month full-time. We apply individual salary setting based on your experience and competence.
