The Assistance Investigation Unit consists of six case officers, and we handle services according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). We also manage transport services and national transport services. The unit includes contact persons, support families, and foster homes according to LSS. Here, we actively work for good cooperation both within our area and administration as well as with our partners.
The unit is divided into two teams; one team handles cases within elderly care, and the other team handles cases within support for disabilities and transport services. We are now looking for a colleague for a temporary position until 1/3 2026 in one of our teams. We offer you a workplace with high social security where the workgroup and the unit manager collaborate closely on a daily basis.

Job Responsibilities
As a case officer in Kungsör municipality, you will work with authority exercises primarily concerning the elderly. You are responsible for investigating, assessing, deciding, and following up on services according to the Social Services Act. You will adhere to the laws, regulations, agreements, and guidelines that govern the area of activity. Depending on your experience, there may also be case handling concerning disabled individuals and social psychiatry as well as transport services and national transport services. Your responsibilities also include collaboration with the individual, relatives, colleagues, providers, and other professionals and authorities.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another equivalent academic education where you have studied social law. We would prefer that you have experience in authority exercises within one of the areas of elderly care, LSS, or social psychiatry. You should preferably have experience working with the operational systems Lifecare, Cosmic Link, and the investigation method IBIC. Since travel is included in the position, you need to have a B driver's license.
