Kristinedalskolan - the place for meetings, learning, and development!

Here, approximately 500 children, young people, and about 100 adults meet daily during the school year to learn from each other, grow, and develop. The school offers great opportunities for cultural exchanges in all forms of creation and meetings with peers and colleagues from countries other than Sweden. At the school, 30 languages are spoken, including Swedish. The Adapted Primary School also conducts its entire operation at Kristinedalskolan.

Kristinedalskolan is a single-story school centrally located in Stenungsund with proximity to nature and various activities. In addition to school activities covering children and young people from preschool to grade 9, after-school care and a leisure club are also operated.

The goal of Kristinedalskolan is for students and staff to thrive at the school. Everyone should feel welcome and be met with respect. The school should be a safe and positive place where it is fun to learn new things.

Job Responsibilities

Are you a passionate native language teacher in German? Then we have the perfect job for you in Stenungsund municipality!

As a native language teacher, you will play a key role in supporting and developing students' language skills. Your main responsibilities include teaching German, lesson planning, and assessing students' progress. Teaching takes place in all of the municipality's primary schools where the relevant language is offered.

We are looking for a creative and engaged person with good communication skills and a passion for language learning. With your commitment, you empower students to learn and take responsibility. Teaching is adapted to the needs of the students. In your work, you demonstrate good leadership and use alternative teaching tools. You take responsibility for your working hours and create a good relationship with students and guardians through dialogue and mutual respect.

• The position is a 12-month temporary position (school year 25/26) at 20%.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of the native language and Swedish.

• We want you to have good collaboration and organizational skills and be flexible. You should have patience and be able to create a safe environment for our students. You should communicate, take responsibility for, and create a good working climate to foster a calm, safe, and pleasant school environment.

• It is advantageous if you have a pedagogical education or experience in pedagogical work.

• A driver's license is an advantage as the position involves travel between different schools.
