Here you will join a cohesive unit with a strong focus on development work that promotes children's participation. We have a stable and well-functioning social service with a reasonable workload and organized finances. The unit is managed by a management group consisting of two unit managers and four team leaders. The group has extensive collective experience in social services work with children and families.

Family Unit

The family unit consists of two different workgroups. The authority group with reception, investigators, as well as child follow-up workers, family home secretaries, and family law. The open care with family therapists, field group, social workers at the family center, and HVB as well as supported housing operations. The unit's structure promotes collaboration and creates a team around the families in our operations.

Family Home Secretary

We are now looking for a family home secretary. The position is placed in the authority group which consists of two preliminary assessors, seven investigators, two child follow-up workers, two family home secretaries, and one family law secretary. The unit manager leads the operations together with two team leaders who distribute cases and provide guidance in daily work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of the family home secretary involves investigating and guiding our family homes. All our family homes are expected to receive individual guidance and, if necessary, further training. Sometimes we also offer group guidance. As a family home secretary, you work closely with your colleague but also in close collaboration with our child follow-up workers who are responsible for the child's placement. You and the child follow-up worker need to have a shared understanding of the child's needs, which forms the basis for your guidance of the family home. The role of the family home secretary also involves participating in follow-ups of the child's placement.

Kumla municipality strives to be able to offer family homes in its own management. This means that we actively need to recruit family homes and be able to offer extensive support to our family homes.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying have an academic degree as a social worker, behavioral scientist with additional training in social law, or other education that the employer deems appropriate. A valid driver's license (B) is required. We would like you to have experience working with the target group of children and youth.
