The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care, SiS, is an authority responsible for individually adapted compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial problems and for adults with substance abuse. SiS LVM home Runnagården receives women with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. We accept women with mental health issues as well as aggressive women with violent behavior. We also accept women undergoing medication-assisted treatment (LARO).

Job Description

Do you want to help create a vital difference for vulnerable people? Then the job as an operational leader is a meaningful role. The position is new and is part of SiS's new organization aimed at a more equitable and effective working method throughout the organization.

As an operational leader, you will be responsible for institution-wide coordination and management of ongoing work outside office hours, with the aim of promoting a safe care and work environment. You will guide and support your colleagues in their work and ensure that the work is carried out legally and in accordance with applicable governing documents, methods, and set goals. Specifically, this means that you will be responsible for incident management during alarm situations and take necessary actions following an incident. You will communicate noted deficiencies and deviations from routines to relevant managers. You will establish and update safety assessments and make decisions regarding coercive measures according to LVM in accordance with SiS's work and delegation order.

Qualifications

You have the will and ability to act according to applicable decisions, guidelines, and policies. You have a holistic view and act in the best interest of the organization. Furthermore, you are structured in your work and have a good ability to plan and prioritize effectively.

You should also have:

• Relevant higher education such as social worker, behavioral scientist, or other equivalent higher education, or at least a two-year vocational education (treatment pedagogue) along with experience working within SiS or similar operations.
• Several years of experience working within SiS or another organization focused on care, treatment, and safety, such as social services, healthcare and treatment, correctional services, or other relevant fields.
• Experience in leading, prioritizing, and coordinating a work group.

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date according to agreement.
