Description

Hällefors Municipality is undergoing a transformation focused on quality in assistance handling. In the role of assistance officer, you will play an important part in assessing needs and making decisions according to the Social Services Act and LSS. You will be part of a team with three assistance officers and work together with other professional categories within social services in new central premises.

Responsibilities

• Assess needs for services and make decisions according to the Social Services Act and LSS.
• Provide advice, plan, coordinate, and follow up on services (e.g., home care, special housing, respite care, short-term care, housing support, security alarms).
• Collaborate with various professional groups and contribute to good cooperation.

Qualifications

• Degree in social work or another equivalent higher education.
• Ability to act calmly and structured in stressful situations.
• Good ability to prioritize, organize, and plan tasks.
• Empathetic, secure, and with good personal maturity.
• Ability to understand others' situations and show good judgment.
• Good computer skills.
• Driver's license (B).

Preferred

• Experience working with IBIC and KUBEN.
• Knowledge of the operational systems Viva ÄO and Life Care.

Conditions

Permanent full-time employment with a start date in June 2025 or by agreement. A probationary period may apply. The person offered the position must present a police clearance certificate. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, so the position may be filled before the application deadline.
