Röselid School is located in Gråbo, close to nature and lakes. At our school, there are dedicated, driven, and knowledgeable employees who put children, development, and learning at the center. All strategies for our development work are based on our prioritized areas of teaching quality, student health work, and self-leadership. We have clear forums where we collaborate to systematically improve our work with our students in focus. The work teams are organized as F-3A and B, 4-6, and 7-9. The educators work together in their teams around the groups in the different grades, based on process leadership and subject expert roles. Each work team has a team leader, whose task is to serve as a link between management and the work team, highlight questions and thoughts of an overarching nature from the work team to management, as well as anchor and create understanding in the work team for decisions made.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role, you will be part of the school's special team, which includes two teachers and two trained special teachers and special educators. You will work in F-3 and be an important person for students transitioning to grade 4. This is to ensure that support is taken and implemented in the new work team for the student. You will also participate in student health meetings for F-3 with other professionals in student health and be the link between the work teams and the student health team. You will also collaborate with educators/counselors in our support service, Kompassen. In addition, we collaborate to develop and refine the school's work to provide our students with the best conditions to reach as far as possible based on their circumstances.

Your responsibilities therefore include:

• conducting assessments in preschool class together with educators, screenings in grades 1-3, and supporting during national tests in grade 3.
• planning and providing support in groups or individually based on the above.
• attending regular teaching.
• supporting colleagues and being a sounding board on teaching issues.
• collaborating with student health professionals in investigations for special support by pedagogically mapping and evaluating action programs.

As a special teacher, your tasks are therefore very varied. It is our students' needs that guide. With your specific competence, you contribute to ensuring that support measures are inclusive and lead to increased goal fulfillment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a special teacher and have teaching experience. We also see it as an advantage if you have experience working closely with work teams and student health teams. You want to contribute to a collaborative effort with our students' best interests in mind. As a person, you have the ability to see the big picture and view issues from different perspectives. You have good pedagogical skills and an understanding of people's different abilities to absorb knowledge. You take responsibility and drive your work forward to achieve results while having good collaboration skills and relating to others in a responsive and smooth manner. You are also good at structuring, planning, and prioritizing your work.
