Önneröd School

Önneröd School is a 4-9 school in Landvetter with an included adapted primary school where students study subjects. Currently, about 450 students are enrolled in grades 4-9, with approximately 45 staff led by a principal and an assistant principal. Our classes in the adapted primary school will have a total of 11 students this fall and form a separate unit along with three other school units, two in Mölnlycke and one more in Landvetter, all led by a common principal.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer a permanent position as a teacher with the task of working as a class teacher and teaching core subjects in a class within the adapted primary school. The classes have four, five, and six students in grades 4-9, and you will be responsible for teaching in close collaboration with your colleagues who are responsible for the other classes at the other end of the school. The work team also consists of preschool teachers and student assistants. The primary school teachers are responsible for teaching practical and aesthetic subjects.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is educated and certified as a special teacher (IF) or a teacher with several years of experience working in primary school and has an interest in working in an adapted primary school. You have a positive view of students and knowledge with a focus on interaction, are collaborative, proactive, and can contribute to a positive work climate.

You are familiar with the governing documents of the operation, have a relationship-building low-arousal approach, and want to contribute to the evaluation and development of the operation based on the needs of the students. You provide a clear structure and use alternative communication with visual support and sign language in everyday life.

You are also curious, open, and evaluative about how the school can use new technology in various ways to stimulate and develop learning for your students.

To obtain employment, a criminal record extract from the police must be presented.
