About the workplace

The Digitalization Department has a significant and forward-looking mission within the City Management Administration and is responsible for leading, developing, and coordinating the city's digitalization efforts. In addition to ensuring a qualitative basic delivery of IT environments for 35,000 users, we aim to be the best partner for operations and companies in digitalization work. The Digitalization Department of Helsingborg City consists of six units. You will be part of the Strategy and Architecture unit, which is responsible for the strategic work within digitalization, focusing on operational needs, architecture, change management, and digital transformation. Within the unit, there is currently one Enterprise Architect whom you will work closely with.

Job Responsibilities

The Digitalization Department of Helsingborg City is looking for an engaged and experienced Enterprise Architect who wants to contribute to building the digital Helsingborg of the future. In this role, you will be a key player in planning, structuring, and governing the architecture to enable the city's development needs, goals, and overall vision. You will:

• Drive architectural work in the city through strategic planning, modeling, and governance of the overall architecture. This includes business, information, and technical architecture.
• Drive and plan roadmaps for application areas and technical areas, thereby creating a long-term and scalable architecture.
• Support and guide internal development teams (primarily solution architects) by setting clear architectural frameworks and goals, and ensuring that technical solutions comply with the city's standards, strategies, and principles.
• Act as an advisor to various business or IT functions or projects regarding architecture and the IT landscape as a whole, contributing expertise to facilitate well-informed decisions.
• Collaborate with various roles and departments within the city to share knowledge, coordinate initiatives, and promote a common direction for development and innovation.
• Be an active member of the city's governance forum for architecture and security, ensuring that the IT architecture supports the city's digital principles.
• Utilize the city's EA tools for architectural work, analysis, and modeling.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a higher education in IT, computer science, or a related field.
• Has several years of experience working as an Enterprise Architect or in similar roles in complex organizations.
• Experience in business, information, application, and infrastructure architecture.
• Has a good ability to communicate the complex in a simple and pedagogical way.
• Has several years of experience with TOGAF or similar frameworks.
• Has good knowledge of IT security, scalable architecture, and standardization.
• Is proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
