About the position

The Department of Colorectal Surgery, ward 8, receives patients who are to undergo colorectal or gynecological surgery. The department is staffed by nurses, nursing assistants, along with doctors and health professionals working closely together around our patients. We provide high-quality care to patients around the clock.

As a staffing assistant, you play a key role in our operations. You manage the daily staffing of nurses and nursing assistants, both short-term and long-term. You work closely with the nursing managers on the ward to whom you also report.

Much of your daily work takes place in Heroma where you, among other things, do schedule planning, register absences and replacements. You will also introduce and ensure that employees independently manage and work in our personnel management systems. In 2025, the implementation of the TESSA scheduling tool is planned, where you will be a central person during the introduction.

As a staffing assistant, you work daytime, Monday to Friday.

We are looking for someone who

• has a pronounced problem-solving mindset
• is calm and stress-resistant, as you will often need to prioritize among various tasks in the role of staffing assistant
• has good structuring and organizational skills
• has the ability to work independently and an interest in working with various IT systems.

Great importance will be placed on personal qualities.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with workforce planning and scheduling
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

Meritorious:

• Experience in workforce planning within healthcare
• Good knowledge of Heroma, schedule planning, scheduling, working time regulations, and other laws and agreements related to employment as well as healthy scheduling
• Relevant healthcare education, such as nursing assistant
