We are looking for a driven individual who wants to make their mark in a dynamic and international environment at a prestigious embassy in the heart of Stockholm. Here, you will not only have a task but an opportunity to work in an environment characterized by innovation and global collaboration.

The Netherlands Embassy in Stockholm is now seeking an assistant for their innovation department. This is a parental leave cover starting immediately until May 2026. The position is full-time, 38 hours a week with flexibility. Evening work may occur. There is an option to work from home, but it is desirable that you consider the office as your primary workplace.

This is a consultancy assignment. You will be employed by Randstad but will have your workplace at the embassy.

Responsibilities

As an innovation assistant, you will have a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment. You will play a key role in:

• Conducting market research based on events and fairs, as well as investigating and analyzing developments in technology and research in Sweden
• Monitoring Swedish media and government websites regarding innovation-related news
• Summarizing and publishing longer articles on relevant topics
• Publishing information on LinkedIn and other social networks
• Event planning (accommodation, transport, and all logistics related to visits to the embassy)
• Networking and collaborating both internationally and locally

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a star at creating content for various platforms (articles, social media, video)
• Has 2-5 years of experience working in an international environment in roles such as assistant, administrator, or communicator
• Is curious about topics such as innovation, science, and technology
• Has an understanding of the innovation landscape in Sweden (universities, research institutes, industry, and authorities)
• Speaks and writes fluent English and Swedish (Dutch is a plus!)
• Is a communicative and organized team player with a positive attitude
• We also see that you are curious, creative, solution-oriented, and results-driven
