About the position

We are now looking for a licensed occupational therapist for home care in Löddeköpinge for a temporary position from June 1 to December 31, 2025, with a possibility of extension.

The rehabilitation unit in Kävlinge municipality consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nursing assistants, and assistive technology technicians who work with both special housing, ordinary housing, LSS, short-term units, and home care teams. The municipality also has a MAR to strengthen our focus on development issues regarding rehabilitation from a patient-safe and evidence-based perspective.

As an occupational therapist in Kävlinge municipality, you contribute to strengthening the individual's independence and increasing activity and participation in everyday life. You enable the person to live an active and independent life based on their goals, conditions, and needs, and collaborate with the person's network. Your work includes making functional and activity assessments, trying and prescribing physical and cognitive aids, and writing certificates for housing adaptations.

You guide, educate, prescribe, and delegate tasks to care staff and supervise students. The position means that you work as a licensed occupational therapist primarily within ordinary housing, but work within special housing may occur.

Your role as a colleague is characterized by an active and responsible approach with a focus on good communication. The work offers great opportunities for independent planning and possibilities to develop as a licensed occupational therapist within your profession. Experience in municipal health and medical care is an asset, as is relevant further education. You must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in Swedish and have good computer skills. To work in the organization, a B driver's license is required.
