Welcome, midwife, who is passionate about your work throughout the care chain. We deliver approximately 1600 babies per year, and as a midwife, you have the opportunity to work in rotation in delivery, prenatal, and maternity wards.

Centralsjukhuset Kristianstad (CSK) is a moderately sized hospital! Through short decision-making paths and a focus on employee engagement, we create a business together that we can be proud of.

The delivery ward has 5 beds and is directly adjacent to the neonatal and operating departments. The prenatal ward is located in the same premises as the delivery ward and has 5 beds. The maternity ward has a total of 17 beds, where we care for postpartum women and some beds for pregnant women in need of observation. Here, we work to ensure that patients' experiences of care are as positive and natural as possible. In total, we have about 100 midwives, nurses, and nursing assistants within obstetrics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you, a midwife with a genuine interest in people who thrives on new challenges. In the delivery ward, we care for not only birthing women but also prenatal patients, cesarean sections, and shared-care patients. With us, you will receive an individually tailored introduction and time for reflection. To enhance patient safety, we work with the Green Cross, have a responsible leader in the delivery and maternity wards during all shifts, and practice shared care. We care for each other and share joy in our work.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply are a licensed midwife authorized to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required. Additionally, you have basic IT skills, and it is an advantage if you have experience with Obstetrix, PASiS, and Melior.

We seek someone who is passionate about caring for pregnant women, birthing women, and postpartum women with children and partners. For us, it is a given that you are meticulous in your midwifery role, taking care of patients according to their various needs and providing them with a good reception. As a person, you are engaged, proactive, flexible, and open to new challenges and opportunities.
