About the Workplace

Läkargruppen Landskrona is a small doctor-led health center located in central Landskrona, where quality, accessibility, and continuity are the guiding principles.

We are situated in modern, bright premises that are infused with a calm and peaceful atmosphere beneficial for both staff and patients.

We are a small, close-knit team that enjoys our work and greets our patients and colleagues with a smile. We are seven people; two specialists in general medicine, two nurses, two nursing assistants, a physiotherapist, and a secretary who staff the clinic daily. A psychologist, occupational therapist, and dietitian work part-time and come in a few days a week. We have an open environment where everyone helps each other and works across professional boundaries when necessary.

Our team-based work model has proven to be a very successful concept for both our employees and patients. This has been confirmed in both employee surveys and patient surveys. Since our start in 2020, we have grown from 1,300 registered patients to 3,600, and we now need to expand with an additional medical resource.

Job Responsibilities

Is your dream as a district doctor to build long-term patient relationships and follow patients' health over time? If so, this is the position for you. With us, you will be responsible for your own patient list, and only you will meet your patients, whether they come for scheduled visits, seek urgent care, or contact you digitally. Like the other doctors, you will have open phone hours for one hour every day, so your patients can easily reach you. All patients with chronic illnesses are called in for regular visits to ensure good and quality care.

You will meet patients of different ages and with various medical needs, which gives you the opportunity to use your medical knowledge and skills daily. At our health center, we work based on evidence and proven experience and promote continuous professional development to keep staff updated with the latest medical knowledge and technology. We also encourage good collaboration with the municipality and other external actors and are happy to invite guest speakers.

At Läkargruppen Landskrona, as a small health center, teamwork is both a reality and a given. All staff groups work very closely together, and our doors are always open for collegial questions and discussions. We also have daily, short clinic meetings to keep everyone updated on what is happening.

You will work with freedom under responsibility and have a significant opportunity to influence your schedule and work situation. However, we expect you to be engaged in the operations and work towards our common goals. We have short and quick decision-making paths and expect you to contribute to our ongoing improvement efforts.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a specialist in general medicine, preferably with a few years of experience in the field. You must have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We would prefer if you have worked in Skåne before, so you are familiar with our care guidelines, referral flows, and our journal system PMO, but this is not a requirement. We place great importance on personal suitability.

You are confident in your role as a doctor and share your knowledge selflessly with colleagues from various professional groups as well as potential students. You enjoy the medical profession and focus on your patients while seeing yourself as part of a larger context; part of the team and the organization. You are curious and eager to learn and want to continuously develop in your role as a doctor.

Additional Information

The clinic's opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, but will be extended to 8 AM to 5 PM during the autumn. Working hours for the position will be determined by agreement with the applicant. The degree of employment can be discussed, but our starting point is 100%. We are also flexible with the start date. Interviews will be conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Please note that we are looking for a Specialist in General Medicine with a Swedish license.
