About us

The Surgical Clinic in Nyköping is a modern, dynamic, and development-oriented clinic. The clinic's primary mission consists of acute and planned care in surgery, urology, and endoscopy for the southern region of Sömland. In addition, the surgical clinic has several regional assignments such as endocrine surgery, obesity surgery, kidney surgery, etc. Our treatment offerings encompass all surgical modalities including robotic surgery. The clinic has several actively researching/PhD staff members.

The upper gastro section has a county assignment for malignant and benign thyroid surgery and obesity surgery. We conduct extensive and broad surgical and outpatient activities in new facilities with complete state-of-the-art equipment. The upper gastro section has several leadership and process assignments in the large region and is part of several local and regional program areas. The specialists in the upper gastro section are part of the surgical clinic's on-call line.

Your tasks

One of our senior physicians has moved on to another position, and we are now looking for a specialist in surgery. Tasks include rounds of inpatient patients, outpatient activities, surgeries, on-call duties, as well as administrative work and surgical teaching.

Your qualifications

We are looking for a licensed specialist physician in surgery with experience in upper gastrointestinal surgery. We seek an ambitious and committed person with good collaborative skills with all staff groups. In addition to your surgical expertise, we see that you contribute to a positive work environment where both you and your colleagues thrive and develop. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Employment form

Permanent employment with start date by agreement.
