In the rehabilitation unit, we currently have thirteen occupational therapists, eleven physiotherapists, and two rehabilitation assistants working to develop our professions and our methods. We strive to create clarity in our mission and the tasks we perform. The operation is constantly evolving, and you are an important part of the change and development work. Here, it is easy for you to exchange thoughts, questions, and experiences with your colleagues around you.

The rehabilitation unit is based at Lövåsgården, and we travel to our patients outside Lövåsgården using service cars or service bicycles. In the unit, we work in three smaller workgroups: SÄBO/short-term department, Functional Support Area/personal assistance, and home healthcare. We work Monday to Friday and have flexible working hours.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In collaboration with occupational therapists, nurses, and care staff, you will be responsible for interventions in patients' regular homes. The work consists of standard physiotherapy tasks, including assessments of mobility and treatments after injury or illness. It also includes the fitting and prescribing of assistive devices. The work also involves instructing, educating, and guiding relatives and care staff in the daily work around the patient. This is an independent role where you are responsible for planning your time and implementing interventions. You will work closely with unit managers and care staff, which includes guiding and educating staff groups.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed physiotherapist or sports physiotherapist. Since we conduct home visits, you will need a B driver's license for a car with a manual transmission. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You are computer literate for clear documentation in various systems. Experience working in municipal health and care services is an advantage.

To succeed in the role of physiotherapist or sports physiotherapist with us, you need to be confident and stable in your professional role, as the work involves independent assessments, planning, and implementation of interventions. Your ability to adapt to changing conditions is important, as the workday can vary and require flexibility. Since you work closely with patients, relatives, and care staff, you need to have good communication skills, be attentive, and be able to handle different perspectives professionally. Your humility and willingness to develop are valuable in our work to guide, educate, and drive improvements within the organization.
