About us

Health Center Bagaregatan is a well-established and well-functioning operation in central Nyköping. Currently, we have about 50 employees and over 13,000 registered patients of all ages. Our finances have been stable over the years, which increases our security as employees.

Here we work in teams around our patients with a focus on long-term relationship building, high accessibility, and continuity. A professional approach, great personal responsibility, good collaboration, and a flexible schedule have contributed to our low staff turnover and high job satisfaction over the years.

We are now looking for a district nurse/children's nurse who is interested in a combined position between the child health clinic (BVC) and the health center. The scope of both assignments will be able to adapt based on the number of children registered at BVC and also depending on the overall staffing situation. But the minimum for BVC is 50%. Currently, there are about 850 registered children at BVC.

At BVC, we work with a varied workflow and are always open to developing and embracing new ideas. You will work independently but with close collaboration and support from two other child health nurses.

The nursing team at the clinic consists of a group of nurses and district nurses with varying degrees of experience, and some have specialized competencies in different focus/responsibility areas. Many have extensive experience in primary care. Overall, however, we work as generalists, which makes our work varied and stimulating. In our workplace, you will never feel alone.

Your tasks

Working at BVC means that you will work according to the child health care program, aimed at promoting children's health, safety, and development, which in turn means that you need to collaborate with different professionals here at the health center, but also externally with, for example, child health psychologists, speech therapists, social services, and the municipality.

The work of monitoring children's health and development takes place through home visits, scheduled appointments, and team visits, such as doctor appointments. We hold parent groups and provide daily telephone advice.

Work at the clinic primarily involves important work in counseling and triage, but regular clinic work may also be relevant. The position also includes shifts at the Primary Care Emergency Service on weekends and public holidays, about 3-4 shifts per year.

Your qualifications

You are a licensed district nurse or children's nurse, preferably with previous experience working at a health center and/or BVC/family center.

You need to have good planning skills, as much of your work will be led and planned by yourself. You also need to be easy to collaborate with and flexible. We place great importance on personal qualities.

Employment form

Permanent employment full-time/part-time according to agreement. Start date according to agreement.
