About us

The psychiatric reception in Nyköping is part of specialist psychiatry within Region Sörmland. We are about 65 employees from various professions working together with high competence, commitment, and a desire to make a difference.

We are responsible for several different patient groups and work cross-professionally in teams with a focus on wholeness, continuity, and safety.

With us, you will find:

• Nurses, doctors, psychologists, psychotherapists, medical secretaries, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and caregivers.

As a nurse, you are an important part of the team and have both individual responsibility and close collaboration with colleagues and other actors. You will work in a nursing group with a wide range of competencies where we value participation, accountability, and collegial support.

In the group, there is also a senior nurse – an experienced colleague with an extended role that includes:

• Leading nursing meetings and providing support in daily work.
• Working with supervision, consultation, and internal training.
• Coordinating TeleQ and contributing to the development of the organization.
• Responsible for routines in the medication room and following up on deviations.
• Sharing their expertise to strengthen the entire group.

Your tasks

• Patient-centered work in teams and individually.
• Active work with individual care plans.
• Telephone counseling and medication management.
• Nursing assessments and caring conversations.
• Quick actions in case of patient deterioration, e.g., support conversations or medication adjustments.
• Collaboration with the municipality and other healthcare providers.
• Administrative tasks related to nursing work.
• ECT

Your qualifications

• You are a licensed nurse with professional experience – preferably in psychiatry. Further education in psychiatric nursing is an advantage.
• You are confident, collaborative, and have a professional attitude. You enjoy taking responsibility and have an interest in developing both yourself and the organization.
• We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Employment form

Permanent employment with start date by agreement.
