About Us

Vårdcentralen City is HBTQI-certified and located in the heart of Eskilstuna. We provide primary care services including a doctor's office, nursing services, child health care, family center, laboratory, staffed reception with medical services, psychosocial team, rehabilitation team, and a health and lifestyle clinic. Currently, we have over 18,000 registered patients and 80 employees. A strong commitment from each staff member and collaboration among different professional categories in a non-hierarchical and unpretentious manner characterize our workplace. Your Responsibilities

As a resident physician (ST-läkare), you will examine, investigate, assess, and treat patients within the scope of primary care. You will follow your individual training plan with the goal of developing and achieving specialist knowledge in general medicine. The main service will be performed at Vårdcentralen City, and you will have placements at various clinics in Sörmland. In addition to scheduled supervision with your mentor, you will have daily access to knowledgeable colleagues. The medical team at the health center holds regular meetings where you can raise patient cases and discuss.

As a resident physician in Sörmland, you will participate in regular meetings, seminars, and training with other resident physicians in general medicine. We offer you great opportunities to influence your education according to your specific wishes and areas of interest.

Your Qualifications

You have a Swedish medical license (attached to the application) and Swedish language skills equivalent to documented C1. We prefer that you have prior experience in primary care.
