The Skaraborg Endoscopy Clinic has a location in Skövde where both urgent and planned patient activities are conducted, and in Lidköping where planned patient activities are the focus.

The two clinics work together based on a shared patient waiting list. We perform colonoscopies, gastroscopies, sigmoidoscopies, ERCP, PEG insertions, and changing PEG to gastrotubes. We also collaborate with surgery, operations, and ENT clinics.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse, you will be based at the endoscopy clinic in Skövde, where you will work most of the time. The position integrates with the appropriate care department, providing great opportunities for engagement and participation in developing cooperation between outpatient and inpatient care.

As a nurse at the endoscopy clinic, you will prepare patients for examinations, administer medications, and assist during procedures. Your responsibilities also include participating in the clinics' improvement efforts, including task exchanges conducted in focus groups and areas of responsibility. As a nurse, you contribute to providing good care and high-quality healthcare with a focus on patient safety. You will also be responsible for providing patients with information both before and after the examination to ensure they feel involved in their care.

Qualifications

You must be a licensed nurse. If you have specialist knowledge, it is valuable but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you have the will to see opportunities and are flexible regarding the integrated working method.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
