Stenungsund municipality is an expanding coastal municipality with approximately 27,800 inhabitants, a strong business community, residential areas close to the sea, and good communication opportunities. Here at Tallåsen, we have 13 units, of which eight are dementia-oriented, three are somatic, and two are geriatric psychiatric units. Lavendelgården at Tallåsen is a care unit that also has apartments for respite care. Tallåsen is centrally located in Stenungsund, about 200 meters from Stenungsund station and about 700 meters from Stenungstorg shopping center. We operate around the clock with a driven and competent team consisting of nursing assistants, care assistants, nurses, rehabilitation staff, administrators, service personnel, and unit managers. Together, we work to create a safe place based on good and secure care. Our goal is to offer our tenants a meaningful existence where quality and activities play a central role in everyday life.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced colleague who is a nursing assistant! As a nursing assistant, you are an important part of creating a meaningful everyday life for individuals, where you consider each resident's individual needs and circumstances. The goal is for each resident to live a dignified life and feel well-being. The working method should lead to good and safe care where the person, through influence and participation, achieves meaningfulness, comprehensibility, and manageability in their life situation. You will work based on contact person responsibility and implementation plans and have close collaboration with other professional categories such as rehabilitation staff, nurses, and doctors. The work includes documentation and performing health and medical tasks by delegation. Your working hours will be scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• You must have the ability to meet people in a professional manner and be responsive to the tenant's needs.
• You must have a nursing assistant education and experience in care work.
• You are calm and have a clear resident focus.
• You should easily adapt your working methods based on changing conditions and new information.
• You are skilled at motivating residents to maintain abilities and independence.
• You contribute to a good atmosphere in the workgroup and foster positive development for the organization.
• You are innovative and willing to try new things.
• You share your knowledge with other colleagues.
• As documentation is an important part of our work, we would like you to express yourself well in both speech and writing.
• You should be knowledgeable about applicable legislation and be familiar with the national guidelines for care and nursing.
