About us

When Health Brämaregården clinic is a well-functioning clinic located in central Hisingen with approximately 12,500 registered patients of all ages.

We are looking for a licensed physician with an interest in general medicine. The medical team consists of six colleagues with specialist competence and six residents. For us, continuity and long-term responsibility for patients are important. Our work is characterized by a holistic approach. A prerequisite for this is a reasonable workload and collegial support, which we safeguard. At the clinic, there are also psychologists, nurses, district nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, secretaries, and rehabilitation coordinators. We have a joint, continuous development work to work safely and efficiently with the best interests of patients and the population in mind.

About the job

Your tasks at the clinic span a wide range and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations.

We work with triaged and limited drop-in in the mornings and with pre-booked appointments, child health care, home care, or indirect patient work in the afternoons. We have set aside time for medical meetings every week. Some of us have side assignments in research and education.

The clinic has a long tradition of teaching and supervising students and training doctors thanks to a particular interest in the workgroup and good cooperation with the university and the region's educational units. Supervision is provided by an experienced specialist, who gives you support and knowledge exchange. Your schedule will be adapted for training doctors. With us, you will be offered a varied job with good development opportunities.

About you

You are a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare and have an interest in primary care and completing residency training in general medicine. You possess language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale.

We are looking for someone who is attentive and has a good attitude since you will meet many different patients at the clinic. You enjoy teamwork and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work.

Interviews at the clinic are conducted continuously during the application period.

The position is a temporary contract for 6 months, with the possibility of extension and residency training.

For those who have trained as doctors abroad and have not completed the internship in Sweden to obtain medical authorization, the new regulations regarding Basic Training from July 1, 2021, apply. Basic Training for physicians (BT) is a mandatory introductory part of the specialization training in the new regulation ST-2021 (HSLF-FS 2021:8). This means that you need to complete BT before or as an introductory part of your residency.
