With 6,200 dedicated employees, we are Sweden's largest support services administration. We work within housing with special services, daily activities, employment, housing support, personal assistance, children’s and short-term housing, respite care, and support and guidance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for summer and temporary substitutes for our units within the administration for support services. The operations are divided into geographical areas: Hisingen (Northern and Western Hisingen and Lundby), Centrum (Majorna-Linné, Örgryte-Härlanda, Johanneberg). You will be placed based on needs and expressed interest.

The operations have different focuses within support services. Within housing with special services (BmSS), the residents have various physical, mental, or intellectual disabilities. BmSS is staffed around the clock. Daily activities conduct activities with a habilitative focus and more production-oriented tasks for the aforementioned users. Here, it is staffed during the day from Monday to Friday. Housing support assists users in their home environment with motivational support and care. This is primarily staffed during the day, but there are also evening and weekend shifts.

The work involves varied tasks such as educational support in daily life, personal care, and common household tasks like laundry and cooking. Challenging and self-harming behavior may occur. Part of the job is to document users' development and needs. The tasks also include medication management according to delegation. By being there as support for our users, you contribute to a meaningful everyday life.

To be considered for a summer substitute position, you need to be able to work on a schedule. You need to be available for this during weeks 25-33. In your application, you will fill in which weeks and times you can work. To get into the job before summer, there is an opportunity to work as a temporary substitute before your summer position.

We are also looking for temporary substitutes who can cover for regular staff absences in the operations as needed. As a temporary substitute, you will be offered flexible working hours scheduled during the day, evening, or night on weekdays and weekends according to what suits you. You can manage your working hours by entering your availability and receiving work requests accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS

To apply for a position with us, you must be at least 18 years old, in accordance with regulations regarding minors' working environment (AFS 2023:2).

To be able to document, you need to master the Swedish language in both spoken and written form, which means a requirement for passing grades in Swedish 1, Swedish as a second language 1, or equivalent. Those who do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1 may be offered to take a language test through the test user Educateit.

If you are a trained support assistant, nursing assistant, or have another education that the employer deems equivalent, or if you are currently studying in healthcare, education, or social work, this is meritorious. It is also an advantage if you have experience working in healthcare, education, or social work.
