Are you a quality-conscious engineer with experience in supplier collaboration and production? We are now looking for a Supplier Quality Manager for an exciting assignment within Gripen Procurement at our client in the defense and aerospace industry.

About the assignment: In the role of Supplier Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high quality in the supply chain – focusing on products for the Gripen platform. You will work closely with both Swedish and international suppliers and be a key player in coordinating and driving deviations and quality issues.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with internal functions such as purchasing, design, production, and quality department. The role also involves developing control plans for incoming inspections and analyzing and following up on quality remarks.

You will be part of a process-driven approach where both details and a holistic perspective are important for identifying patterns and proactively driving improvements.

Requirements: To succeed in this assignment, we see that you have:

• Experience in production, design, quality, or purchasing
• Strong analytical skills and an interest in finding root causes of quality deviations
• Excellent communication skills, both in Swedish and English
• The ability to work independently, drive activities, and take initiative
• A continuous improvement mindset and experience working in cross-functional teams

Desirable:

• Technical university degree (master's or bachelor's degree in engineering)
• Knowledge of supplier quality, quality tools, and production processes
• Experience in purchasing/sourcing
