Delivery Coordinator for the Gripen System

Your Role

We are expanding our operations within the Gripen system and are now looking for a new team member for our team in Linköping. The Aircraft Installation and Delivery department works on delivering newly manufactured Gripen aircraft as well as performing maintenance, modifications, and repairs, both in Sweden and internationally.

As a Delivery Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating the deliveries of our aircraft. You will also be responsible for delivery documentation, both nationally and for customers such as in Brazil. The execution of the work is primarily governed by the delivery process and airworthiness documentation, but also requires independent analyses and assessments to meet business and operational goals.

Your main tasks will include:

• Ensuring deliveries of new aircraft with accompanying documentation to the customer.
• Maintaining customer contacts during the production and delivery process until the handover of the aircraft.
• Coordinating and agreeing with the customer on commitments related to our products during production, in consultation with responsible departments and program management.

The position is based in Linköping. Travel may occur in the role.

Your Profile

To fit the role, we see that you have:

• Several years of work experience in logistics or engineering
• At least a high school education in logistics/engineering.
• Very good knowledge of both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form
• Good computer skills

If you have experience working in a coordinating role, we see it as highly meritorious for the position. We also consider it advantageous if you have system knowledge of Gripen and experience working on relevant projects, preferably with a background from production, testing, or systems departments. Experience in military maintenance operations and good knowledge of the delivery process is also seen as valuable.

The work involves close collaboration with both internal departments and business units within the company, as well as with external partners and customers. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is social, proactive, and has a strong sense of business acumen and collaboration. You are a person who enjoys taking on challenges and ensuring they are solved responsibly. To thrive in the role, you need to be structured, meticulous, and have a good sense of order. Additionally, we see that you appreciate working in a team and contribute to a positive and engaged team spirit.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
