Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a development coordinator to lead the implementation of Malmö city's digital learning platform, Malmö lär, in three of the city's technical administrations: the property and street office, the environmental administration, and the urban planning office.

Malmö lär is Malmö city's common educational platform for e-learning, hybrid education, and teacher-led training, aimed at making it easier to create, implement, administer, and follow up on training and skills initiatives.

The position involves project managing the implementation of the learning platform in three administrations, as well as developing systems and methods for managing the system, producing and quality assuring training, and developing an educational catalog that meets both organizational and individual needs. You will be part of a municipal network aimed at experience sharing and joint development of the system in the city. The network is centrally coordinated. You will work actively and operationally in the system. The role includes being a super user for the system and building a learning editorial team for the three administrations with different competencies to support the administration, management, and development of the system and the educational catalog, as well as user support. A significant part of the work will involve communicating with various parties in the different administrations to analyze needs and teach managers and employees how to use the system for the best possible effect.

You will be organizationally affiliated with the quality and strategy unit of the property and street office. The unit employs 14 development-oriented staff tasked with coordinating and developing the administration's overall governance and management processes as well as strategic work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with excellent project management skills and experience as a change leader who takes initiative and drives projects from start to finish. You have a structured working method where you are self-driven and take great responsibility for your tasks and complete planned activities. Since the position involves many points of contact, we expect you to have good collaboration skills and enjoy building and maintaining relationships. Furthermore, you possess good communication skills, are pedagogical, and adapt the way you convey your message depending on the recipient. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

We are looking for someone who has;

  • Education at the university level or equivalent education deemed relevant by the employer
  • Several years of experience working with and implementing similar digital learning platforms
  • System understanding and knowledge of database construction
  • Documented experience leading projects in larger organizations
  • Experience in change management
  • Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
  • Good knowledge of English.

It is an advantage if you have;

  • Education in computer science, IT, engineering, or other relevant education for the position
  • Experience with various learning platforms
  • Experience or understanding of the municipal technical sector.
