The primary school/adapted primary school is part of the Education Administration. The operation includes 21 primary schools and adapted primary school, with a total of about 4500 students. Five of the primary schools are secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operation also includes after-school care.

Tjällmo School is a F-6 school located in an old cultural area with beautiful nature and exciting history. Here, knowledge, safety, and movement are in focus. Students are given the opportunity to work across grade boundaries.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in Physical Education and Health, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching based on the curriculum and course plan. You create a safe and inclusive learning environment and support, motivate, and stimulate students' knowledge development through varied working methods based on their individual conditions. In teaching, you make a difference for our students by believing in their abilities, encouraging creativity and curiosity, and making it clear to each student that they can succeed in both big and small ways. You work based on proven experience and research and strive to ensure that students receive the best possible development, both academically and socially. You carefully document students' performance and development. You maintain contact and collaborate with guardians and other actors outside the school and inform guardians about students' development. Through systematic quality work, you work to ensure that set goals are achieved. Together with your work team, you develop the school's mission and continuously promote collegial learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a teaching degree with a teaching license with qualifications in Physical Education and Health for grades 1-6.

Personal suitability is important for the position, and we are looking for someone who finds it easy to collaborate and create good relationships with both students and colleagues and parents. You have good pedagogical competence and the ability to motivate and create learning characterized by inclusion and variation.

You are communicative and can create engagement, participation, and safety through lessons and meetings. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can effectively use them in your daily work.

Experience is required.
