The primary school/adapted primary school is part of the Education Administration. The operation includes 21 primary schools as well as adapted primary school, and the total number of students is about 4500. Five of the primary schools are secondary schools while the others, with a few exceptions, include grades F-6. The operation also includes after-school care.

Tjällmo School is a F-6 school located in an old cultural area with beautiful nature and exciting history. Here, knowledge, safety, and movement are in focus. Students are given the opportunity to work across grade boundaries.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a certified teacher in English and mathematics for grades 4-6. It is an advantage if you are qualified in the subjects Swedish and Social Studies.

You are engaged and aware that as an educator, you can make a difference for the students. You reflect on the students' learning and want to develop your teaching in collaboration with your colleagues. You can differentiate your teaching while enjoying the challenge of finding the right adaptation for each student. You are a clear leader in the classroom and understand the importance of continuity but are also prepared to try new things.

You work with teaching, planning, and evaluation with the aim of promoting each student's learning where knowledge and values are in focus. Your teaching is formative, modern, and creative and aims to reach and find strategies to strengthen the students, both academically and in their personal development. Together with your colleagues, you actively work to establish and maintain a good learning and working environment for students and staff at our school.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a teaching degree and teaching certification with qualifications in English and mathematics for grades 4-6. It is an advantage if you are qualified in the subjects Swedish and Social Studies.

Personal suitability is important for the position, and we are looking for someone who is flexible and has an easy time collaborating and creating good relationships with both students and colleagues and parents. You have good pedagogical competence and the ability to motivate and create learning characterized by inclusion and variation.

You are communicative and can create engagement, participation, and safety through lessons and meetings. You have a good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can effectively use them in your daily work.

Experience is required.
