Digitalization Strategist for the Social Administration in Järfälla Municipality

The Social Administration in Järfälla Municipality is responsible for elderly care, disability services, and individual and family care. The unit for Finance, System Management, and Facilities within the Social Administration is tasked with providing support and services to all areas of the administration. The department coordinates functions such as investigations, procurement support, follow-up, finance, communication, system management, facilities, personnel, and committee administration. We exist for our residents and work together to meet future challenges regardless of our roles.

We are now looking for a digitalization strategist who will work across the administration and is ready to meet future challenges!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a digitalization strategist, you will work both strategically and operationally to develop and implement digital solutions that strengthen and streamline the work of social services. You will collaborate with operations, the IT department, and external stakeholders to ensure that digitalization contributes to increased quality, accessibility, and legal certainty in our services.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Leading and coordinating digitalization initiatives and relevant functions.
• Identifying and implementing innovative digital solutions.
• Collaborating with operations, the IT department, and external partners.
• Ensuring that digital investments comply with legislation and security requirements.
• Training and supporting employees in digital working methods.
• Driving change management related to digitalization.

The role is new and may evolve over time.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant higher education in IT, digitalization, social services, or similar.
• Experience working with digitalization or business development, preferably in the public sector.
• The ability to lead development projects and change initiatives.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Social Services Act (SoL), is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
• Good communication skills, pedagogical abilities, and experience working cross-functionally.
