The Swedish Transport Administration is currently at the beginning of an exciting journey where we are in the process of building a robust and secure PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) capability to meet new internal needs as well as external requirements and collaboration needs. A new virtual organization and new roles will be established, including a PKI Operations team, and therefore we are now looking for a systems specialist with deep and broad experience in the field who will work in a large and complex IT environment linked to critical infrastructure.

Systems Specialist in PKI

Responsibilities

PKI is part of the Swedish Transport Administration's login service where the PKI Operations team will have a clear responsibility for operating, further developing, and managing the Transport Administration's PKI infrastructure.

You will have active collaboration with infrastructure architects regarding structure and overall design for the PKI area to jointly drive new initiatives and, together with the team, lead the further development and management of existing, as well as implementation of new PKI solutions. The work is planned in iterations according to agile working methods together with other team members consisting of systems specialists, system technicians, scrum masters, and the product owner for the PKI delivery. As a systems specialist, you will also act as an expert and advisor in projects.

The team has a shared responsibility to prioritize and maintain stable operations of the Transport Administration's PKI platforms. On-call duty may be required.

Additional Information

Possible locations for this position are Borlänge, Gävle, Gothenburg, Stockholm, or Örebro.

We are looking for someone who has

• relevant post-secondary education in IT or other education combined with experience that we assess to be equivalent
• many years of experience in implementation, management, administration, and troubleshooting of PKI solutions
• experience working with PKI systems in Linux and Windows environments
• experience using scripting languages such as Powershell, Python, Bash, or similar
• good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is advantageous if you have experience with

• certificate-based login methods
• PKI solutions based on EJBCA and/or ADCS
• Hardware Security Module (HSM)
• OPENSSL
• e-identity for the public sector (EFOS)
