Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will be a key person in the development and optimization of our materials and manufacturing processes. You will work closely with quality and production to ensure that our carbon fiber composites have the right properties throughout the process – from raw materials to finished products.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Development and optimization of processes for carbon fiber composites – ensuring that baking, curing, and surface treatment are done correctly.
• Production-related work – identifying failures, conducting tests, and ensuring quality control.
• Setting up processes and parameters for temperature, pressure, and curing.
• Collaborating with production, quality control, and the development team to optimize manufacturing.
• Contributing your expertise in manufacturing methods such as autoclave.

Your Profile

We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled material and process engineer with expertise in fiber composites and their manufacturing processes, preferably in carbon fiber and/or thermosetting plastics. You have a strong understanding of how material properties affect the final product and thrive in a production-related role where you work to improve processes and ensure production quality.

To succeed in this role, you need to have a Master's degree in engineering or equivalent solid experience in a relevant field. You have extensive experience in fiber composites, preferably carbon fiber and/or thermosetting plastics, along with previous experience as a material and process engineer or another relevant role in the field. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form, as well as good knowledge of the Office suite. Additionally, you have a good understanding of manufacturing processes, curing, surface treatment, and optimization of fiber composites.

As a person, you are pedagogical and communicative with good problem-solving skills. You adapt to the situation and can quickly adjust as needed. You are passionate about achieving high-set goals together with your colleagues and always keep the customer, in this case, production, in focus.
