JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a driven payroll administrator who wants to be part of our team and develop with us?

We are looking for a payroll administrator to join our payroll team consisting of four payroll administrators and a team leader responsible for operations. Together, we work to support our operations in payroll-related matters within the Swedish Board of Agriculture and the District Veterinarians.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Calculation, preparation, and payment of approximately 2,000 salaries per month
  • Support in payroll-related questions, such as administration of certificates and employer certificates
  • Contact with authorities, such as the Swedish Social Insurance Agency
  • Other related matters such as policies, insurances, and contractual issues.

The role also involves continuously working to streamline and increase the digitalization of payroll administration. We are currently in the midst of an important effort to improve our payroll administrative processes and are preparing for the procurement of a new payroll and HR system.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Post-secondary education in payroll administration, or equivalent competence from work experience
  • At least two years of work experience as a payroll administrator
  • Experience working with payroll systems.

We consider it an advantage if you have knowledge of the Terms Agreements, the central collective agreements of the state. You need to be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, as you will have a lot of contact with the organization.

To fit in the role, we believe you have a desire to drive your work forward, both independently and in collaboration with colleagues. Furthermore, you enjoy working towards both your own goals and the group’s common objectives. You have the ability to structure and plan your work well in a sometimes changing environment. Since the work involves internal support, it is crucial that you have a service-oriented attitude and can easily understand other situations and needs.

The place of employment is Jönköping with the possibility to work part of the time remotely.
