Job Responsibilities

You will be part of a team of teachers who together plan and are responsible for the education and development of students, as well as deciding on any needs for subject integration in your classes. The focus is on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and reliable environment. You will teach students in grades 1-3, where you will educate and support them in their social and academic development.

You challenge students to take their own initiatives, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others. At Anneberg School, you and your colleagues are offered opportunities for development, exciting assignments, and work in modern facilities. In your role as a mentor, you have a special responsibility for a group of students, allowing you to follow their academic and social development more closely. As a mentor, you inform and keep the student's guardians updated on their progress towards goals.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach grades F-3. Previous experience working as a teacher is considered an asset.

You have a good understanding of and knowledge about the school's governing documents and can effectively use them in your daily work. Furthermore, you possess good didactic and pedagogical skills, enabling you to lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment for our students throughout their school day.

Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. Of course, you maintain a professional approach and work towards building good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.

Anneberg School is a newly built three-parallel F-6 school in the Stadion area of central Malmö. Currently, we have about 540 students, many of whom also attend the after-school program.
