Job Responsibilities

Your two main job responsibilities are to 1) conduct world-leading research in spatial understanding and modeling and 2) contribute to the supervision of PhD students.

The research should align with the research group's focus on spatial understanding and modeling as well as the scene flow project that funds the position. The supervision of PhD students is expected to involve close collaboration with 2-3 PhD students and to serve as a resource for the rest of the group. In addition, the candidate is expected to participate in the activities of the research group and department.

Qualifications

Requirements

A PhD degree or foreign degree deemed equivalent to a PhD. This eligibility requirement must be met by the time the employment decision is made.
As a person, you are scientifically skilled, independent, and have the ability to collaborate.
Documented deep understanding of methods in machine learning and the ability to apply them.
Very good programming skills.
Experience in developing code that others can use.

Meritorious

At the closing date of the application, a maximum of three years should have passed since obtaining the PhD or a foreign degree deemed equivalent to a PhD.
It is meritorious if you show awareness of diversity and equality issues with a particular focus on gender equality.
Practical experience of working with robots.

We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.
