Job Responsibilities

We are currently seeking up to four postdoctoral researchers in the field of machine learning and wireless communication networks:

One postdoc will be sponsored by the Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF) research project SAICOM - Artificial Intelligence for Wireless Communication
One postdoc will be sponsored by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation (KAW) research project TAIRCOMP - Turning the Air into an AI Computer
One postdoc will be sponsored by the Horizon research project MUSMET - Musical Metaverse made in Europe: an innovation lab for musicians and audiences
One postdoc will be sponsored by the Horizon research project BATTwin - Flexible and scalable digital twin platform for improved production efficiency and yield in battery cell production lines

Qualifications

Requirements

PhD degree or foreign degree deemed equivalent to a PhD. This eligibility requirement must be met by the time the employment decision is made.
We expect you to have good research competence in the field
Good pedagogical skills
We expect you to have no issues working independently

Meritorious

At the time of the application deadline, a maximum of three years since PhD or a foreign degree deemed equivalent to a PhD was obtained
Research expertise in machine learning and optimization theory, applied to wireless communication or networks or the Internet of Things
Strong and documented interest in applied mathematical research
Ability to collaborate for the submission of research projects
We expect you to have no issues working together with others
Awareness of issues related to diversity and equal opportunities, with a particular focus on gender equality

About the Employment

The employment is permanent, but for a maximum of two years.
