As a business developer with us at NBV, you will be a key person in developing the community through study circles and cultural events that offer sober meeting places, promote inclusion, democracy, and community life as well as cultural life.
Your tasks:
- Create new and maintain relationships with associations, networks, and public organizations
- Start activities within NBV's areas of sobriety, inclusion, democracy, and community life as well as cultural life
- Support our partners and ensure that our activities maintain high quality
We are looking for someone who:
- Is good at making new contacts and may already have a strong network in Värmland
- Can present ideas in an inspiring way
- Expresses themselves fluently in speech and writing in Swedish
- Is comfortable using social media in their work.
Your qualities You are creative and enjoy that no day is the same. The work is independent and goal-oriented, so you need to be good at organizing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Administration, budgeting, and finance are part of the job, and you need to have a B driver's license to move freely in Värmland.
We place great importance on personal suitability and are looking for someone who shares our values. This means that you either already live completely sober or, upon employment, commit to living completely sober and become a member of one of our member organizations.
Meritorious If you have previous experience in popular education, knowledge in crafts, visual arts, performing arts, music, etc., are engaged in community life or civil society, or have additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, it is meritorious.
What we offer The position is located in Karlstad and will be filled by agreement. We offer a 100% employment with an average of 38.5 hours per week, starting with a 6-month probationary period. The position involves great freedom under responsibility as we apply goal-oriented working hours. Work may occur in the evenings and on weekends.
