Description

We are looking for a leisure educator for Munkfors municipality.

The position is organized within Education and Health, where we work to provide students with the best conditions to grow, develop their knowledge, and reach their full potential.

In this role, you will primarily support students with specific needs on an individual level in their daily schoolwork alongside the teacher. You will provide support and stimulation based on the students' specific conditions, which may include assistance in knowledge acquisition as well as support in students' daily medical, social, and physical development. All support should promote development and independence. The tasks vary, providing a diverse and challenging work environment, while also requiring both competence and personal qualities from you.

Qualifications

Qualified leisure educator or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.

The following experiences are meritorious:

• Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities and NPF diagnoses
• Experience in educational activities, documentation, and follow-up

You are stable and secure in your work and have a good ability to build trust with those around you.

You work independently and combine clarity with decisiveness, while also being attentive and adapting to the student's needs.

With a calm and structured approach, you meet others clearly and have a positive and inclusive attitude towards students, colleagues, and parents.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Conditions

The position is a permanent employment with a probationary period. Start date by agreement.

In accordance with the Education Act, a criminal record extract is required before employment.
