JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In January 2022, we moved into the new Hammarlunden school F-6. Would you like to join us in developing our school?

Hammarlunden school F-6 is a school with about 660 students. We base our work on the holistic idea that health, development, and learning go hand in hand and occur through safety-creating efforts, where students should feel that they are part of a context and co-creators in their learning.

In the role of primary school teacher with us, you will work in teams together with educational staff in both school and after-school care. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for planning, implementation, and assessment based on governing documents and the school's goals.

An important part of your assignment is to evaluate your work, create accessible learning environments to meet the diverse needs of students, and find strategies to reach each student. You will strengthen students both in their knowledge development and in their personal development.

You will be part of a teaching team where we expect you to actively contribute with a solution-oriented and results-oriented approach, always focusing on the needs of the students.

Fixed-term employment: 2025-08-11 to 2026-06-17
Extent: Full-time

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for an engaged and certified teacher for grades F-3 who is confident in the school's values and can translate the curriculum into high-quality teaching. You should be a clear and positive leader who creates a good and accessible learning environment for students. You work to ensure that all students are involved in their own learning through inclusive solutions.

We highly value personal suitability and see that you work with curiosity, warmth, and conscious choices in your daily work. In your application and during a possible interview, we would like you to describe your experiences and abilities regarding interactions with students, leadership, and collaboration with colleagues.

We know that the ability to reflect on and analyze both your own efforts and the content of the operations is crucial for high quality. Therefore, it is important that you can reflect on your teaching and how you carry it out. We also see that you have good collaboration skills and are prepared to actively participate in the school's systematic quality work.

Experience from the primary school teaching profession is meritorious.

The position will be filled subject to the necessary decisions being made.

With reference to the laws regulating background checks, the person offered this position must present an extract from the criminal record before an employment contract can be established.
