We are now looking for five leisure teachers for the school's Färjestadsskolan (https://karlstad.se/forskola-skola-och-utbildning/grundskola/grundskolor/farjestadsskolan).

At Färjestadsskolan, there are about 600 students, from preschool to grade 6. The school is relatively newly built with a focus on safety for the students and with the latest digital technology to support and assist in teaching for both educators and students. Our fantastic schoolyard offers great opportunities for teaching and outdoor activities.

There are eight leisure centers at Färjestadsskolan. The leisure centers are integrated into the school's premises. Teaching in the leisure center takes place in adapted premises adjacent to the classrooms.

Job Responsibilities

As a leisure teacher, you will be part of a team consisting of primary school teachers, leisure educators, and student assistants who regularly meet to plan and develop the activities. You will perform your work both in the leisure center and in the school. Together with your colleagues, you will conduct pedagogical and meaningful teaching that challenges and stimulates students to learn both indoors and outdoors.

The work as a leisure teacher is creative, varied, and requires a solution-oriented approach.

Qualifications

Certified teacher with a focus on leisure centers.

You have high social competence and a clear desire to develop both yourself and the organization you work in, together with colleagues and management.
