JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a study counselor, you guide students who need support in various subjects so they can follow the regular teaching and have the opportunity to achieve their goals. As a study counselor, you work together with the students' subject teachers and support the students in their mother tongue.

Your work is very independent, but you belong to a work team within the municipality's Language Unit. The work team conducts joint professional development and meets once every month.

Part-time employment starting August 2025.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with Swahili as their mother tongue. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language. You can communicate fluently in both spoken and written Swedish and your mother tongue and are interested in familiarizing yourself with the curriculum for primary school.

You enjoy working in a team, are flexible, and want to try new ways. Developing together with colleagues, individual students, and student groups energizes you.

As a person, you are driven by identifying the student's needs and meeting them at their level. You have the ability to create good relationships and find it easy to collaborate with students, guardians, and colleagues. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
